Tracy Flick is back! The iconic Reese Witherspoon character from Election helped make her a star, as well as further establishing Alexander Payne as a big time filmmaker. Well, if you loved that film, some news from a few days ago is about to get you very excited.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Payne and Witherspoon are back for Tracy Flick Can’t Win, the sequel novel penned by Election author Tom Perrotta. Payne and Jim Taylor will adapt, with Witherspoon producing, in addition to returning to the role of Flick.
