Jesse Eisenberg is continuing to tour the film festival circuit with his latest movie, The Debut. Currently, he’s across the pond at the BFI London Film Festival, where it’s the closing title. While talking about his new film, his Oscar-winning prior one, A Real Pain, and other topics, it came up that he’s next written six episodes of a television series. More below.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, while discussing The Debut, this upcoming TV series came up. Eisenberg stated that he wrote it for A24 and it follows an 18 year old girl during the fall of 2002. He went on to say that it’s about the beginning of the culture wars that we’re in now. So, that’s all we can go on for now, but expect to hear plenty more about this one soon enough. Stay tuned.
