Keanu Reeves Exits Hulu’s ‘Devil in the White City’

In a surprising turn of events, Keanu Reeves has exited Hulu’s Devil in the White City. Set to be directed by Todd Field and executive produced by Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, the series has been in development since 2010, with DiCaprio attached to play Daniel H. Burnham.

Reeves was now slated to play the character, but he has now left the project. No details are currently known for his departure, but the role would’ve been Reeves’ largest TV project to date, having appeared in a few television roles, but nothing as significant as this.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is hard at work at searching a replacement for Keanu Reeves. Could Leonardo DiCaprio return to the project as lead? We’ll see what happens soon enough, as the series was ordered by the streamer in August.
