New Trailer Released for Lukas Dhont’s ‘Close’

A24 has released a new trailer for Lukas Dhont‘s Close. Starrring Eden Dambrine and Gustav de Waele, the film tells the story of two thirteen-year-old boys, who spend the summer developing a very intimate friendship. When they return to school in the fall, people around them start making mean spirited comments about their bond, prompting them to grow apart.

The movie had a world premiere in competition for the Palme d’Or at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, on May 26, 2022, where it was later awarded the Grand Prix.
