Elijah Wood to Join Season Two of ‘Yellowjackets’

Deadline has confirmed that Elijah Wood will join the Emmy-nominated Yellowjackets‘ second season. The Lord of the Rings actor will play Walter, a citizen detective challenging Christina Ricci‘s Misty “in ways she won’t see coming.” Though more details on the character aren’t currently known.

Wood joins the ever-growing cast of the show’s second season, after Lauren Ambrose and Simone Kessell were announced to join the cast last week.

Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Tawny Cypress, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Nélisse, Sophie Thatcher and Jasmin Savoy Brown have been confirmed to reprise their respective roles.
