Watch the First Trailer For ‘The Northman’ From Robert Eggers

Earlier today, the first Trailer for Robert EggersThe Northman, which is one of 2022’s most anticipated titles. The director behind The Witch and The Lighthouse, Eggers now presents a viking epic, which has some major potential. A star studded cast doesn’t hurt, either, as it features Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Claes Bang, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan HawkeBjörk, and Willem Dafoe. Focus Features will put this one out in the spring, but this Trailer begins the hype train now. Could it be another Oscar nominee like The Lighthouse? We’ll see, but the potential is certainly there.

From visionary director Robert Eggers comes THE NORTHMAN, an action-filled epic that follows a young Viking prince on his quest to avenge his father’s murder. With an all-star cast that includes Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Claes Bang, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan Hawke, Björk, and Willem Dafoe.
