Derek Cianfrance To Direct Ryan Gosling in ‘Wolfman’ Film

Actor Ryan Gosling was confirmed to be starring in a brand new reimagining of Wolfman back in May of 2020, but since then, little information about the film has been made public. However, that changes today.

Deadline reported that Gosling will star in the film, now being directed by Derek Cianfrance, who previously directed the actor in several films including The Place Beyond the Pines and Blue Valentine.

Cianfrance will be replacing The Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell who parted ways with the project earlier this year due to scheduling. Gosling, Ken Kao and Jason Blum are producing, and Cianfrance is penning the script.

Because the film is in the very early stages of development, no other information about the film has been made public including who other cast members will be and if the story will be any different this time around.
