Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
For episode number fifty one, I was joined by the crew, but split into pieces due to logistics. So, part of the podcast has Ryan McQuade and Steve Prusakowski joining me, while the other section is myself with Mitchell Beaupre and Myles Hughes. In both sections, we talk about my trip up to Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival (I also wrote about it here yesterday). In addition to TIFF, Ryan and Steve got into the festival buzz with me out of the Telluride Film Festival and Venice Film Festival. With Mitchell and Myles, we doubled back to talk more about Candyman and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Plus, I teased them a little in regards to The Card Counter and that just lifted embargo. There’s plenty of good stuff here, I can assure you of that…or at least, we certainly have a good time once again.
As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our fifty first one to date. We’ve blown past our fiftieth milestone and are pressing right along! Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
