Interview: Sydney Sweeney Talks the Appeal of ‘The Voyeurs’

It’s always exciting to talk to an actor or actress you’ve been following throughout their career. In particular, when it’s a younger actor or actress, you’re invested in their success. For a few years now, I’ve been following Sydney Sweeney, who is one of the more exciting young actresses in the business. Probably best known for her work on HBO’s Euphoria, Sweeney also has blown me away in the independent film Clementine, while also having been seen on the big screen in Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, as well as on the small screen with The Handmaid’s Tale and Sharp Objects. This week, she also gets a leading role in the erotic thriller The Voyeurs. In support of that movie, I recently got the chance to chat with her. Today, that discussion, about a pretty interesting flick, comes your way.

Below, you can hear my conversation with Sweeney. We talk about the Amazon Original movie a bunch, but I also did want to discuss her career so far. Plus, we brought up our dogs, because of course we did. She’s a lovely girl, one who is really going places, so talking about this big part was pretty fun. She’s personable, talented, and has a screen presence that’s truly compelling. So, this was a treat, to say the least.
