CAS Goes for ‘Sound of Metal’

After some tough losses from the sound editors and film editors guilds this weekend, Sound of Metal has bounced back tonight with a big win from the Cinema Audio Society Sound Mixing Awards, honoring the best achievements in sound mixing over the last year in film and television.

Elsewhere in the film categories, Soul continues its dominant run in the animated category, while The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart picked up the win for documentary.
