Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar

Watching Annie Mumolo and especially Kristen Wiig go to town on silly characters like Barb and Star is often a blast. Not only are they fun, Jamie Dornan is a surprise secret weapon, too. All of this makes Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar a rather enjoyable comedy. Does it reinvent the wheel? Of course not. Will you be laughing more than a little bit? Probably, yes, and that’s really what counts. Especially today, this movie is easily the top new release to consider. Here‘s a bit from our positive review of the film:

Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar is either the perfect movie for right now, or not. It really all depends on where you are at in this ongoing period of isolation.

If you’re a glass half-full kind of person, the wonderfully silly and funny piece of escapism will transport you to the sunny beaches of Vista Del Mar with our lead characters. If your glass is more half-empty, the sunny scenery will make you long for what we are collectively missing now. Either way, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar is a fun trip worth taking.
