Three weeks ago, I posted my article (here) on the “Alternate” Academy Award nominations. As I explained, it was a fun exercise to see who and what likely just missed with Oscar. In some cases, it leads to a sigh of relief. In others, it leads to wondering what might have been. Now that we’re careening towards the Oscar ceremony, I wanted to put the question to you all more directly. As a new Awards Radar Community question, I’m curious what you all thought was next in line, nomination-wise. Yes, what was number six (or in one obvious case, number nine) in each category?
