Official Trailer Drops for Rod Davis Lurie’s World War II Film ‘Lucky Strike’

Earlier this morning, Roadside Attractions released the official trailer for Lucky Strike from filmmaker Rod Davis Lurie. Reuniting him with Scott Eastwood after previously making The Outpost together, the film is about one soldier trapped behind enemy lines in World War II during what would be known as The Battle of the Bulge. Lurie directs a screenplay he wrote with Marc Frydman, while the cast, in addition to Eastwood, includes Colin Hanks, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Taylor John Smith. This one comes to theaters on June 26th.

This is what Roadside Attractions has to say about the movie:

Inspired by true events, Lucky Strike tells the story of one soldier trapped behind enemy lines during the last major German offensive during WWII, what will become known as The Battle of the Bulge. Armed only with his Motorola SCR-300 radio, a new technology only battle-ready near the end of the war, he must use his wits and spy craft to thwart the advancing Nazi Panzer army and find his way back home.

The film reunites director Rod Lurie, producer Marc Frydman and star and producer Scott Eastwood following their acclaimed film The Outpost.
