Official Trailer Released for Boots Riley’s ‘I Love Boosters’

Boots Riley‘s sophomore feature I Love Boosters, coming off of its SXSW premiere, has given us a fuller look, as the official trailer has dropped today. After the wildly creative debut Sorry to Bother You, anything is possible with this film, even if the short synopsis is still “A crew of professional shoplifters take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven. It’s like community service.” and remains fairly low key.

Riley writes and directs, with the cast including Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, Eiza González, LaKeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore. NEON will release the movie in theaters on May 22nd.
