New Trailer for ‘Moana’ Gives Further Look at Disney’s Latest Live-Action Remake

The latest trailer for Moana has been released online. Directed by Thomas Kail and written by Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller, the movie is a remake of the 2016 animated film of the same name and will star Catherine Laga’aia, Dwayne Johnson, John Tui, Frankie Adams, and Rena Owen.

Here is the plot synopsis:

“In Disney’s live-action adaptation of the beloved Oscar®-nominated animated adventure, Moana answers the Ocean’s call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people.”
