Watch Conan O’Brien Get a Post-Oscar Surprise

As the 98th Oscar telecast wrapped up, with One Battle After Another having won Best Picture, Conan O’Brien helped sign off the show as most hosts do. Then, a little post-Oscars surprise video was dropped. In it, O’Brien is given a comedic send-off as Oscar host, invoking the fate of one notable character from the climax of the Best Picture-winning film. It’s a funny video, as well as a very clever button for the Academy Awards to go off the air on, though if you haven’t seen One Battle After Another, it could be inscrutable. Still, it was a fun experiment.
