Barbra Streisand to Receive An Honorary Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival

There is very little that Barbra Streisand has not done. She’s already an EGOT winner, so there’s few markers in the industry that she hasn’t hit. That being said, the Cannes Film Festival has figured out one more honor that she can receive for her extraordinary career. More below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cannes will be bestowing an honorary Palme d’Or prize on Streisand this year. It’s a lifetime achievement honor, to be given during the festival’s awards ceremony on May 23rd. So, not only are there movies galore to celebrate at the upcoming festival, there’s also the life and work of this legend.
