Each year, the National Film Registry selects several titles to be added to their archives, preserving them in the annals of American cultural history. This year, a number of notable films have been chosen, running the gamut of cinematic history. Those selections can be seen below.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the following movies have been added to the National Film Registry: Before Sunrise, The Big Chill, Brooklyn Bridge, Clueless, Frida, Glory, The Grand Budapest Hotel, High Society, The Hours, Inception, The Incredibles, The Karate Kid, The Lady, The Loving Story, The Maid of McMillan, The Oath of the Sword, Philadelphia, Say Amen, Somebody, Sparrows, Ten Nights in a Barroom, The Thing, The Tramp and the Dog, The Truman Show, White Christmas, and The Wrecking Crew.
