Ted Lasso is nearing a return! We already knew that Season Four was a go for Apple, Jason Sudeikis, and company, as Sudeikis’ title character takes on a women’s team. Now, we have a slightly better idea of when we’ll be able to see it. Read on for more.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the fourth season of the hit show will launch on Apple TV+ this summer. That’s as specific as they’re willing to get right now, but a firmer date will presumably be revealed soon, alongside a trailer. For now, Coach Lasso is returning to Richmond. The official log line is as follows:
“In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”
