I hope everyone had a nice Holiday this year. Among the many things that folks tend to get into, taking in a film or two is usually among them. Whether it’s in theaters or at home, new releases or classics, friends and family gather round screens to take in top notch entertainment. So, for this week’s Awards Radar Community Question, we’re asking about those viewings. Yes, we want to know…what did you watch for the holidays?

If you saw something in theaters, was it a new release or an awards season catch up? If it was the former, it could be Anaconda, Avatar: Fire and Ash, Marty Supreme, or Song Sung Blue. As for the catch up flicks, Hamnet and Wicked: For Good are still around in theaters. Whatever the title you chose to take in at a cinema, we’re keen to find out.
If you watched at home, did you rent an Oscar contender, take in a holiday classic, or something else entirely. Maybe you had your family watch One Battle After Another or Sinners? Could it have been a way to see Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere after passing it up in theaters? Perhaps it was time to take in A Christmas Story, Die Hard, or Love Actually? However you chose to gather round the television with your loved ones, we’re eager to hear about it.
Now, it’s time to chime in. What have you been watching during this Holiday period? Big screen or small screen, whatever you’ve been checking out/revisiting, we want to find out all about it. So, don’t be shy and let us know…
What did you watch for the holidays? Let us know!

The Testament of Anne Lee wasn’t playing anywhere near me, so I watched Song Sung Blue.
Yes, Kate Hudson is as luminous as everyone’s been saying (easily my favorite work from her ever), but I’m kind of taken aback by how… uncharitable and downright vicious some of the reviews online for the movie itself has been. There are awards darlings snapping up nominations left and right this season that don’t possess half the heartfelt conviction this movie walks away with.
I found it quite heartfelt and moving!
I did, too. I find the disproportionate backlash to it really depressing.
Truly.
