‘Sinners’ is Submitting Two Best Original Song Contenders

One of the highlights of Sinners earlier this year is its musical components. Without question, the film would not be what it is without how perfect the music feels. One element that might be a bit below the radar is its Original Songs. Well, Warner Bros. is planning to do its best to make sure that’s not the case, as the movie is going to be contending for Best Original Song nominations at the Oscars. More below.

According to Variety, Warner Bros. is submitting both I Lied to You and Last Time (I Seen the Sun). Both tracks are co-written by composer Ludwig Göransson, while Miles Caton from the film performs both (while co-writing the latter). Whether they get nominated or not remains to be seen, but Sinners is looking to be in the Oscar hunt across the board.
