For years, whether he’s produced or directed the films, Judd Apatow has been at the forefront of giving unique comedy voices a showcase. He helmed vehicles for Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island) and Amy Schumer (Trainwreck), while shepherding the voices of folks like Seth Rogen and Jason Segel. Now, you can add Nikki Glaser to that list.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Glazer is co-writing (with Sean O’Connor) and starting in, as well as producing, a romantic comedy that Apatow will be a producer on. It’s supposedly an edgy rom-com, which certainly fits the humor of Glaser (also our most recent Golden Globes host). It’s still early on, but this is certainly a project to keep an eye on.
