Moments ago, Lionsgate released a new trailer for Good Fortune, which just recently had its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Back at TIFF, our own Joey Magidson enjoyed the movie, saying here that it’s “the funniest Keanu has ever been” and that quote has wound up in the trailer, as you’ll see below. Aziz Ansari writes and directs, as well as stars alongside Keanu Reeves and Seth Rogen, with Sandra Oh and Keke Palmer among the supporting cast.
The simple plot synopsis is as follows: “ In GOOD FORTUNE, a well-meaning but rather inept angel named Gabriel (Keanu Reeves) meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker (Aziz Ansari) and a wealthy venture capitalist (Seth Rogen).”
