Zack Snyder is Going to Direct His Passion Project ‘The Last Photograph’

For about two decades now, Zack Snyder has been trying to get his passion project made. The project is The Last Photograph, a war film that has clearly been on his mind throughout his career. Well, it sounds like not only is he actually going to get to helm the movie, it’s actually going to be getting underway very soon.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder is finally directing The Last Photograph. Shooting will begin this month, with Stuart Martin and Fra Free leading the cast. So, while this is a war movie, it’s decidedly on the indie scale, so Snyder will be working in a different register than he has been of late. Stay tuned for more on the film as it gets going.
