Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White Could Star in ‘The Social Network’ Sequel for Aaron Sorkin

A sequel to The Social Network is actually progressing. Aaron Sorkin is writing and directing the follow-up to the Oscar winner, which has long been threatened but now is moving forward. To that end, a pair of leads are being potentially eyed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White are circling roles in the sequel. Right now, it’s just meetings, so nothing is even close to official. That being said, Madison and White at least give you an idea as to who Sorkin could be looking at for his film. More on this one as it develops.

I should be more excited than anyone else here about this movie moving forward, especially since it seems to be going in the direction of “Actually, Mark Zuckerberg totally sucks and we should all hate him” that I was begging for three years ago.

But I really wish literally anyone other than Aaron Sorkin was directing it…
