‘Die My Love’ Sets Awards Friendly Fall Release Date

Out of the Cannes Film Festival, one of the more buzzed about movies was Lynn Ramsay‘s Die My Love. Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson, the psychological drama was scooped up by Mubi in a big deal, clearly with plans for Academy Award contention. Now, we know for sure that it’s going to be in the Oscar running this season, as well as when this fall audiences will be able to experience it.

According to Deadline, Mubi has set a November 7th release date for Die My Love. Interestingly, the film is supposedly getting a wide release, so the distributor clearly hopes to make money on the backs of Lawrence and Pattinson, not just compete for awards. The Cannes reception certainly suggests that both are possible, so stay tuned.
