Earlier today, the American Society of Cinematographers unveiled the nominations for their 39th annual ASC Awards. The nominees in the theatrical category, all of which are in the thick of the Oscar race for Best Cinematography, are Jarin Blaschke for Nosferatu, Alice Brooks for Wicked, Lol Crowley for The Brutalist, Stéphane Fontaine for Conclave, Greig Fraser for Dune: Part Two, Edward Lachman for Maria, and Phedon Papamichael for A Complete Unknown. These seven, plus potentially Paul Guilhaume for Emilia Pérez are the likeliest contenders for the Academy Award. The full nominations can be seen below.
