Shortly after the Academy announced a new timeline for the Oscar nominations, the Writers Guild of America has followed along. Initially, their first delay meant the WGA nominations were going to happen today. Well, that won’t be happening, as the wildfires are still far more of a pressing concern in Los Angeles.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Writers Guild has postponed their announcement until an as of yet undetermined date. Moreover, the American Society of Cinematographers has done the same with their nominations, which were going to be today. So, the WGA and ASC have pushed back. Will more follow along?
