Moments ago, James Gunn shared tje first teaser trailer for Superman. Starring David Corenswet in the title role, this will serve as the big screen introduction to Gunn’s DC Studios. From the teaser, it sure looks like he may have cracked the Superman code.
Superman is written and directed by Gunn, with Corenswet leading a cast that includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Holt as Lex Luthor in central roles. Supporting players will feature Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, plus many more. The film will be released on July 11th, 2025.

I still have this nagging feeling that James Gunn is introducing way too many characters in this one movie, solely for cinematic universe “worldbuilding,” which I’m never a fan of.
On the other hand, actual colors! No morose brooding! Mean Nicholas Hoult! Krypto the Superdog! Whoosa gooboy?
