Anne Hathaway and Zendaya Join Christopher Nolan’s Latest Movie with Matt Damon and Tom Holland

Christopher Nolan is ramping up the cast of his latest yet-to-be-titled motion picture, which will star Matt Damon and Tom Holland and be released in cinemas on July 17, 2026. Plot details are under wraps, but two new A-listers have now joined this hotly anticipated package that’s bound to break many records at the box office.

They are Zendaya and Anne Hathaway, with one having worked with Holland on the MCU Spider-Man trilogy, while the other a frequent collaborator of Nolan with roles in The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar.

Interestingly enough, the fourth Spider-Man film, which will co-star Tom Holland and Zendaya, is set to release a week after Nolan’s movie, on July 24, 2026. While one of those movies may move to make room for one major blockbuster, it’s still fun to think of an actually fun counterprogramming at the movies, many years after Nolan had to deal with Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie playing at the same time as Oppenheimer.

This is likely not going to happen, but it’s still a fun possibility nonetheless. As always, Nolan will be shooting his movie with IMAX cameras but will be the first filmmaker to use next-generation IMAX film cameras for his latest projects, which he co-developed with Jordan Peele. Time will tell how it will look, but, with any Nolan movie, will likely be an unforgettable cinematic experience.
