A new Christopher Nolan movie is about as big an event as cinema gets these days. With Oppenheimer now in the rearview mirror, after being the big Oscar winner, of course, Nolan has his sights set on a new project. Well, a new one is on the horizon, with a familiar actor potentially leading the production.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nolan’s next film might star Matt Damon. Not only that, Universal will once again release the movie, after the success of Oppenheimer. They’re planning a July 17th, 2026 release date for the untitled project. Nothing is yet known about it, but assuming Damon is actually on board, he’ll be teaming up with Nolan for the third time.
