I have film festivals on the brain. After all, I’m leaving in a few days for the Telluride Film Festival. Before that, this week brings the Venice International Film Festival, which will begin right before I leave for the mountains. Once I’m back, it’s only a day or so before I’m off north to the Toronto International Film Festival. Then, as if I hadn’t seen enough movies, the New York Film Festival is next. So, with all of that in mind, I wanted to which fests you all are partial to? For a weekday Awards Radar Community Question, I’m asking just that…which of the fall festivals are you favorite?
For me, it’s obviously Telluride and TIFF, since they’re destinations as well. For you, it could be either of them, both, or neither. If it’s not those two, maybe it’s NYFF or Venice? I’m as curious as to the why here as well. Is it because of the lineups? The festival environment? Whatever the case, it’s perfectly valid. We just want to know!

Telluride. To be fair it is the only one I go to but I have been going nearly 30 years and love it. It’s low key and exciting at the same time.
Agreed about it having that specific vibe. I look forward to it each and every year. Breathing the air does me good.
