Emerald Fennell Working on ‘Wuthering Heights’ Adaptation

After the divisive Saltburn, writer/director Emerald Fennell has announced she is working on her next project, which is revealed to be an adaptation of Emily Brontë‘s Wuthering Heights.

The popular novel has been treated countless times in film and television, including a 2011 adaptation from Andrea Arnold starring Kaya Scodelario and James Howson. It was also the subject of Frances O’Connor’s Emily, a biopic on the life of its author, portrayed by Emma Mackey.
