New Teaser for ‘Kinds of Kindness’ Releases after Cannes Announcement

On the heels of the announcement that it will compete for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, Searchlight Pictures released a new trailer for Kinds of Kindness. Written and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and co-written by Efthimis Filippou, the film stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Mamoudou Athie, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Joe Alwyn, Hong Chau, and Hunter Schafer.

Here is the plot synopsis:

“KINDS OF KINDNESS is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”
