The march towards Oscar glory continues for Christopher Nolan. Surprising no one, Nolan has won the Directors Guild Award for Oppenheimer, which basically cements Best Director for him. The First Time Feature award went to Celine Song for Past Lives, while Mstyslav Chernov took the Documentary category for 20 Days in Mariupol. The latter may be sitting pretty for Best Documentary Feature at the Academy Awards, while the latter is hoping for some Best Original Screenplay love. Time will tell.
