Brad Pitt to Star in ‘The Movie Critic’

As Quentin Tarantino is gearing up to shoot his latest — and last — movie, titled The Movie Critic, Deadline reports that Brad Pitt will be reuniting with Tarantino for his directorial swan song.

It is unclear if Pitt will be playing the lead character, but sources at Deadline are inclined to believe that he may very well be. The actor collaborated with Tarantino for 2007’s Inglourious Basterds and for 2019’s Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, to which he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance as Cliff Booth in the latter film.

Like Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, Sony Pictures will be distributing the film, with Stacey Sher attached as producer, and a release date eyed for 2025. This could mean the movie will start rolling much sooner than later, with what will hopefully be a final film to remember by one of the most influential filmmakers of our time!
