It always feels just a little bit extra special when Ben Affleck and Matt Damon find a new project to work together on. Well, hot on the heels of Air being their latest collaboration, it seems they’ve quickly found another one to re-team on.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck is going to direct Damon in Animals, which is written by Connor McIntyre but has revisions from Billy Ray. Netflix is going to distribute and the film may well be shooting in a matter of months. THR describes the movie as follows: “the crime thriller concerns a mayoral candidate and his wife whose son is kidnapped. Surrounded by plenty of enemies, political and otherwise, the husband and wife have no choice but to get their hands real dirty in order to save their son.” More when we have it.
