It’s kind of crazy that a Bruce Springsteen movie has never been made. Sure, there’s Blinded by the Light, as well as some concert films and documentaries, but never a narrative film. Our own editor Joey Magidson is a huge fan, so he can probably rattle off all of the important moments that a biopic should cover. Well, it seems like he may have something get excited about, if some late night buzz is true.
According to Showbiz 411, Scott Cooper is working on a film about Springsteen’s time making the Nebraska album. Cooper supposedly may have someone in mind to play him, too, but nothing is know at the moment. Consider this just a juicy rumor for now, but if a biopic about The Boss during this creative period is actually in the works, something special could be on the horizon.
