Awards Radar Podcast #169: Joey and Myles Are Joined By Steve to Put a Bow on 2023!

Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!

For episode 168, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, as well as a returning Steve Prusakowski. Yes, Steve is back! This episode, being our last of 2023, serves as a bit of a holiday party, if you will. We get Steve to do his fantasy movie draft at last, while the films discussed on the agenda this week are plentiful. They include Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (reviewed here), The Boys in the Boat (reviewed here), A Disturbance in the Force (reviewed here), Freud’s Last Session (reviewed here), Godzilla Minus One (reviewed here), Leo, Poor Things (reviewed here), Rebel Moon, and Wonka (reviewed here). There’s also Myles’ reveal to Steve of what Joey’s January will be for him, as well as his recent experience with The Human Centipede trilogy. Plus, as a special bonus for you listeners, we go over my year end awards, a day before they publish on the site! It’s a nice fun time, just like an office holiday party should be. How else would you want to put a bow on 2023, after all…

As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 169th one to date (here’s to many more). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
