Joey’s Home Movies For the Week of November 27th – Revisit the Early Days of Small Screen MCU with ‘WandaVision’

Welcome back to my Home Movies! Today, we have WandaVision getting a 4K release from Marvel, as well as Kenneth Branagh‘s latest Hercule Poirot mystery outing in A Haunting in Venice. What else is hitting shelves this week, you might ask? Read on for more…

Joey’s Top Pick

‘WandaVision’ (Disney+)

WandaVision: The Complete Series (4K)

The “what is grief if not love persevering?” moment will always wreck me, and truly has gotten me more this year. I wrote about that moment here, but this television installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe had some incredible highs. The show blew me away, which isn’t happening as often with the MCU these days. So, if you want to revisit WandaVision, just know that you can do so today in glorious 4K!

Intertwining this vast canon with the format of streaming shows (in a way they couldn’t just tune out like they could Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) seems to have done something to it that’s turning off general audiences.
