Pedro Pascal Could Be Reed Richards in Marvel’s ‘Fantastic Four’ Film?

One of the big rumors this week is that Matt Shakman‘s Fantastic Four film for Marvel is closing in on announcing its cast. To that end, a lot of speculation has been brewing about who the family would be played by. Well, it seems like Mister Fantastic/Reed Richards has been decided upon by Kevin Feige and company.

According to Deadline, Pedro Pascal is being eyed for the role and is in talks. If scheduling can be worked out and a deal can be made, Pascal would be the first of the quartet cast. As for the rest of the team, it’s very much just rumors at this point. That being said, Vanessa Kirby could be playing the Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn could be the Human Torch/Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach could be the Thing. while Javier Bardem is apparently being courted to play Galactus. Time will tell if those are accurate or not, but Pascal may well be the first official domino to fall.
