Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
For episode 161, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes (Steve Prusakowski continues behind the scenes as producer and technical guru), alongside a returning Kendall Tinston. As always, if Kendall is here, horror is on the docket. Today is out Halloween spooktacular, where we wrap up Myles’ 31 Days of Halloween / Horror marathon, including a discussion of It Follows, which is getting a sequel. There’s also some Five Nights at Freddy’s chatter, which Kendall loved, but I did not (my review is here), as well as Anatomy of a Fall (raved about by yours truly here), alongside David Fincher‘s The Killer (likewise a rave here). Plus, we finish with a spooky trivia game!

Great job as always! I asked this with PTA and Tarantino earlier this year after I realized they both have made 9 films. Thank you for doing answering. After just seeing The Killer and noticing Fincher and Nolan also have made the same amount of movies I figured it’s another good question. I find the development of directors fascinating and enjoy comparing. But pretty simple, who wins the most? Mine are in () but I’m sure everyone will be more interested in yours. I was 7-5 Fincher…some are very close.
