Ernie Hudson will forever be a member of the Ghostbusters. That’s just what comes along with being in something iconic as that franchise. Of course, Hudson has done plenty of other things, both on the big and small screens, as well as the stage. He can even currently be seen in the new Quantum Leap, as well as later on this year in the Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel. The man gets to work. So, it’s not surprising that I was able to talk to him for a supporting role in the new film Prisoner’s Daughter, where he works opposite the likes of Kate Beckinsale and Brian Cox. Nor was it surprising that the man was a delight. It was, however, a thrill, one that I’ll be sharing with you today.
Below, you can see my discussion with Hudson. We get to talk a bit about Ghostbusters, this latest project, and his desire to have a signature leading man role. Here, he’s in a plum supporting role acting opposite Cox, but Hudson clearly deserves his crack at that type of a part. I feel like it’s coming, with the impending new Ghostbusters effort another opportunity to remind folks how much they enjoy seeing him on screen. Prisoner’s Daughter is certainly the latest chance, so give that a look, as well as this chat…
Here now is my conversation with Prisoner’s Daughter co-star and iconic Ghostbusters star, Ernie Hudson. Enjoy:
