Some of the Potential Venice Film Festival Titles Are Beginning to Come Out

Let the fall festival speculation begin. We’re still a ways out from the Venice Film Festival, but that hasn’t stopped speculation about which movies will and won’t be playing there, as well as other spots on the festival circuit. Well, it seems like a few are more likely than others, at least when it comes to Venice.

According to Variety, Sofia Coppola‘s Priscilla, Michel Franco‘s Memory, Yorgos LanthimosPoor Things, Pablo Larrain‘s El Conde, and Michael Mann‘s Ferrari have been invited to play In Competition. Additionally, Luca Guadagnino‘s Challengers should be at Venice, but not in a competing manner. The same goes potentially for Woody Allen‘s Coup de chance. We’ll find out soon enough if all of these films are going to be at Venice, but the festival will certainly have plenty of terrific titles.
