‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’ to be Directed by Andy Muschietti

Andy Muschetti is a Warner Bros darling at this point. Between both It movies and now The Flash, he’s a go to filmmaker for WB. Hot on the heels of The Flash (reviewed here by Joey) hitting theaters, it looks like Muschetti has another DC gig lined up. It’s a big one, too.

According to Variety, Muschetti is the choice to direct Batman: The Brave and the Bold. There’s no screenwriter attached yet, so these are very early days, but we’re not just going to see DC’s new Batman, but the first live-action Robin in some time. Stay tuned for more, but it’s clear that James Gunn is getting his take on DC’s universe up and running.
