It is unclear when the movie will be released. However, production on Megalopolis has already been plagued with troubles, as it seems to be the case with most Coppola productions. The film apparently went way over budget, with an unstable filming environment permeating most of the filming. Several crew members, including the entire visual effects team, quit the production while filming. However, Driver and other crew members dispelled those rumors, stating that the production was going along smoothly, despite several changes with the crew.
