Steven Spielberg is Planning a John Williams Documentary

One of the great cinematic pairings of director and film composer is, of course, Steven Spielberg and John Williams. The music and the movies are forever tied together, with many a classic having resulted. Now, with their latest work, The Fabelmans, out in the awards race, there’s another collaboration on the way. This one, however, happens to be a documentary about the legendary composer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spielberg is working on getting a doc about Williams off the ground. Laurent Bouzereau will be directing, while Spielberg produces alongside the likes of Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, and more. It’s early in development, but it seems sure to be something cinephiles will want to make it their business to see.
