First Trailer for ‘Beau is Afraid’ Sees Joaquin Phoenix Lose His Mind

The first trailer for Beau is Afraid has been released. Written and directed by Ari Aster, the movie stars Joaquin Phoenix, Zoe Lister-Jones, Nathan Lane, Patti LuPone, Amy Ryan, Kylie Rogers, Parker Posey, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Michael Gandolfini, and Richard Kind.

Its plot synopsis reads, “A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in this bold and ingeniously depraved new film from writer/director Ari Aster.”
