Awards Radar Community: Which Films Are You Looking Forward To This Year?

Warner Bros.

Earlier in the week, I kicked off 2023 by listing the 100 films I was interested in this year. The article can be found here and has a plethora of 2023 releases that could dominate the box office, awards season, and cinematic conversation. So, it’s only right to make this week’s Awards Radar Community Question about just that. Namely, we want to know YOUR most anticipated films of the year. Whatever movies you’re pumped to see, from M3GAN on, we’re all ears…

If you chose something from my list, we certainly want to know what. As mentioned, there are blockbusters like The FlashIndiana Jones And The Dial Of DestinyMission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, as well as Killers of the Flower MoonMaestro and Oppenheimer. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, too, since that’s literally only a half dozen out of 100 flicks that I mentioned on Monday.

Apple Original Films

On the flip-side, if it’s something I didn’t include, we’re just as interested. For example, maybe my glaring omission of Evil Dead Rise stands out to you? There are plenty of other films, too, so don’t feel locked into horror, either. No matter the genre, there are upcoming releases that I didn’t mention, and they’re just as worthy, to say the least…

The choice is now yours. Whatever movies you’re looking forward to in 2023, Awards Radar supports it and wants to hear about it. Don’t be shy, either. Anything that you’re pumped to see, we’re keen to find out!

One movie that I was surprised to see miss your top 100 list was Ridley Scott‘s Napoleon movie. Granted, the director has had a rough go of it, lately, what with The Last Duel bombing at the box office and House of Gucci being mostly silly nonsense, and Joaquin Phoenix is almost twenty years too old for this role since it’s centered on the eponymous character’s rise to power and relationship with Joséphine from 1795 to 1804, and… okay, I’m starting to understand why you didn’t include it on your list.
