The Academy to Announce 2023 Oscar Nominations Live

For the first time since 2016, the Academy of Motion Picture, Arts, and Sciences will return to a live, televised announcement for the 95th Academy Awards. Members of the press and publicists will attend the event, at the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, California, on January 24. The Academy abruptly stopped doing so during the 2017 Oscars, with a pre-recorded announcement, with no live audience, up until this year.

No details are known on who will be hosting the nominations, but the tradition has seen the Academy president with a famous celebrity hosting the event, but details are still sparse. More will be known soon, as the Academy is ready to announce its nominations in little over a month!
